As Europe’s most exclusive gambling destination, Monaco and its casinos offer unique events and experiences for all customers, providing ever-more fun and thrills.
Casino of the year 2020!
The season has gotten off to an award-winning start for the Casino de Monte-Carlo, crowned Casino of the Year by the Global Gaming Awards for the second year running, despite stiff competition from the world’s biggest gaming operators.
The casino scored a double win by also being named Gaming Operator UK & Europe in recognition of its vision, strategy and ability to innovate. These awards are a testament to the casino’s ability to create one-of-a-kind experiences, with exclusives spaces reserved for high rollers, areas for fun players looking for entertainment, and festive events aimed at the general public.
A “dreamlike garden” for all
To illustrate Monaco’s skill in the Art of Gaming, an installation entitled Jardin onirique (Dreamlike Garden) will grace the atrium of the Casino de Monte-Carlo this spring until 27 April. This unique installation blends history and architecture and can be visited free of charge. Enjoy the surprising shapes and volumes of trees and bushes decked out in gambling colours. For those in need of a rest, the chic yet informal Café de la Rotonde is the perfect place to relax, while the more adventurous can try their luck on the slot machines in the nearby Salle Renaissance.
“Chic! Le printemps” themed evening
After giving the Casino Café de Paris a Roaring Twenties makeover, creating a magical winter wonderland and paying tribute to La Dolce Vita and the 1950s, this spring it is the turn of “Chic! Le printemps”, an exceptional event designed to thank members of the My Monte-Carlo loyalty programme.
It is reserved for members in the first part of the evening before opening to the general public at 10pm. Held on 24 April, this adrenaline-packing evening will feature flower decorations, entertainment, a show, gifts, a champagne bar and a cocktail dinner.
Punto Banco tournaments
The aim of this Baccarat variant invented in South America is to predict which hand will win: Punto, Banco or Egalité. Join the participants in the Punto Banco tournaments at the legendary Casino de Monte-Carlo on 27 June for a prize pool of €1 million and on 19 September for a prize pool of €1.5 million!
Ethical gambling In Monaco
Gambling here in Monaco is unlike anywhere else, with customers enjoying a personalised service. To ensure that gambling remains fun, Monaco’s casinos decided to take a proactive approach by applying for Responsible Gaming certification from the European Casino Association. The aim is to protect both gamers and staff by guaranteeing the focus is on enjoyment. This includes initiatives carried out with Monaco’s Department of Cultural Affairs and staff training provided by healthcare professionals at the Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace. By Eve Chatelet
