Very good news for watch lovers staying at the Monte-Carlo Beach. The resort by the water’s edge – the preferred destination of the 1930s jet-set, redesigned in 2009 by India Mahdavi – is now home to a pop-up boutique by Breitling watchmaker. Collectors will find it hard to resist the Navitimer collection, the famous pilot’s watch that is celebrating its 70th anniversary. Now available with a choice of colourful dials (blue, green and copper) to enhance your summer wardrobe, the model also comes in several sizes (46, 43 or 41 mm), two case finishes (stainless steel or 18-carat) and a selection of different bracelets and straps. However, the icon has retained the classic features that make up its DNA, including the circular slide rule, stick indices, trio of chronograph counters and notched bezel.
