Combining innovation and know-how, the establishment is hosting the Dr Barbara Sturm pop-up spa until 5 March, and a brand new salon by Rossano Ferretti, inventor of the “invisible cut” concept.
Offering 6,600 sqm of space dedicated to wellness, beauty and preventive health, the Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo continues to surprise its guests by hosting host pop-up spas throughout the year in partnership with major brands. Following collaborations with eco-ethical brand Paoma and holistic health concept My Blend developed by Clarins, the Thermes Marins will be offering treatments by Dr Barbara Sturm this winter. Dr Sturm is a cosmetic physician who has created cutting-edge treatments to fight inflammatory conditions, notably her “MC1” cream containing plasma, and the “Molecular Cosmetics” line for those who want simple yet effective skin care. The brand, which is strongly committed to sustainable development, offers products that are organic and cruelty-free, with carbon offsetting and/or RSPO certification. The Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo offers seven protocols this winter in a dedicated pop-up. The tailor-made treatments harness the latest innovations and powerful natural extracts, and focus on three areas: the customer’s age, their skin’s requirements and the type of action they require

In addition to Dr Barbara Sturm’s pop-up spa, this season also sees the arrival at the establishment of a major name in hairdressing, Rossano Ferretti, who represents the pinnacle of Italian hair artistry. Ferretti has developed his own method to put an end to standardised cuts by working with the hair’s natural waves. He first used the method on his friend Claudia Schiffer, and it is now available around the world. The technique, which is like the haute couture of hair cutting, allows hairdressers to create sophisticated cuts using the brand’s exclusive horizontal-toothed scissors, which only cut 18% of the hair, compared with ordinary texturising scissors that cut 50 to 60% of hair. “Rossano’s talent, heritage, ability to innovate and commitment to natural, responsible beauty are values that we share,” says Louis Starck, General Manager of the Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo. Rossano Ferretti’s hair spas have also developed beauty products with high-performance formulas that are natural, vegan and cruelty-free. This means the Monegasque establishment can provide a wide range of personalised treatments to its customers while respecting living beings.
