Artists’ jewellery,

from Picasso to Koons

Painters may once upon a time have learned drawing in goldsmiths’ workshops, but contemporary artists have contributed to reshaping the 20th- and 21st-century history of jewellery design. Passionate about these creations, Diane Venet has assembled a collection of nearly 230 pieces. The wife of the sculptor — his foundation is in Le Muy — made her first acquisition in New York in 1967: a brooch by Roy Lichtenstein. She unveils 30 years of passion at the Espace Indigo, from Picasso to Orlan, including pieces by Frank Stella, Niki de Saint-Phalle, Keith Haring and Louise Bourgeois.
