Commemorating Albert

Prince Albert I helped raised the profile of the Principality internationally through his seafaring expeditions. He also adored the music of Massenet and Saint-Saëns, two composers who wrote works for the inauguration of the Musée Océanographique in 1910. Music from la Belle Epoque is celebrated in three concerts this autumn, performed by prestigious artists including the Labèque sisters, Alessandro Baricco (adult audiences), Julie Depardieu (young audiences), and cellist Truls Mørk, conducted by Kazuki Yamada. Experience this rich period of music with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo.
