This season the Opéra will present Il barbiere di Siviglia by Gioachino Rossini in a version that was premiered at the 2022 Salzburg Festival with Cecilia Bartoli. Directed by Rolando Villazón, the melodramma buffo features an original new character, who balances humour and poetry: the actor and quick-change artist Arturo Brachetti.
